Do have a slice, of my attention pie.

From the start of introducing personal computer to the rising necessity of internet for individuals in today's world, it is needless to say that everyone can have a share in the attention pie.

No one could ever guess that the internet would have such great power or even dare to fully develop the potentials of this power due to the dot-com bubble. Software, websites and internet-related development have grown so fast in the nineties that when civilization reaches the 21st century, all human need to do is to adopt it into their lifestyle and further improve it by time. Just like how from basic MS-DOS to Microsoft Windows, Mac OS, Linux and various other interface that we can use not only on our personal computer but on our phone as well today.

As we are approaching to better technology solutions that can help us organize and handle our lives, we are also being offered the chance to share it on internet. The world that is so limited once is open now and we feel like we're not alone anymore and if we do, there is always the internet and there is always someone out there to listen to you, regardless of who you are, where you come from, as long as you are connected.

Fame is no longer far and hard to reach with social media and video-sharing sites. We live in a world where most of us enjoy watching reality shows and attractive physical attributes or achievement appeals to us more. We no longer want to wait for anything. If we are deprived of knowledge and information, we search it on the internet. If we are curious, we ask it on the internet. If we want to know more, we made it clear to the media that we are interested and indirectly let them manipulates our news because it's ok to do so, we can't live a day without knowing what Britney Spears is doing with her life.

We leave little space for ourselves because it is so much easier for us to share about our life now and we think that we should. For what is the use of having a facebook account without sharing our interests on our profile and show what's on our mind on our wall page, a twitter account without the reporting of our happenings in life and so on. We must share, because it is only socially acceptable to do so.

We must put our life out there for others to scrutinize and talk about because everyone else is doing the same. It is unwise to do another. Who doesn't want to be the talk of the town? And who doesn't want to share? For it is good to share, it shows that our life in 21st century is well-lived and no one is ever alone and depressed. We are high, not on drugs, only on the happiness that our society, government, media and peers that have provided to us. There is no better boost than an ego boost. Any publicity is good publicity because it gets you out there.

This is the new era that we brought upon to our civilization, an era of sharing. To check into our foursquare account twittering our whereabouts day and night, uploading photos from our phone so that people knows how much fun we are having, not to forget to facebook about it so our friends can click on to our exciting youtube videos and last but not least, sharing it on blog so everyone from all corners of the world can know about it. All functions are enabled so that everyone can comment about it because it shows that they care.

Not such thing is so trivia that it doesn't need attention. Our friends cares, everyone cares. It is for the best interest of everyone to be loaded with information because everyone needs to know what's happening now. We need the attention or we are nothing if we are not heard by others. There is no worry about not getting enough attention in our life if we share it to everyone because this attention pie is big enough to feed every single being out there that has access to internet.

Private life? What private life? Haven't you read about me on perezhilton.com thanks to my youtube video that is a hit and got 5millions fans on my personal fan page? Google it, top search and you can so Wikipedia about me. There is no need to be shy, you can share my attention pie.
